Random Halloween Friday

By harold on in Updates. Permalink.

Well the week that was is almost at an end. The difference in this usual Friday is the Halloween flavor of course. Typically my favorite night of the year. We are headed to a party tonight as a pair of fiercely authentic Gunslingers– photos to follow.

Monday flew by as usual nothing, Tuesday saw us pulling together costumes, Wednesday we were introduced to the V7 chicken, noodles and spring rolls from the Vietnam Palace + movie at home (Forgetting Sarah Marshal), Thursday was a pizza and software install party– with cake, for a friend and her shiny new iMac. Friday ticks by slowly but surely to a fun weekend.

[Breaking News]

I’ve also just learned over the phone that there has been a new animal addition to my life. A yet to be named kitten has apparently gone from picture on the web last night– to roaming apartment explorer since I left for work. I think a picture is incoming once the proud new owner figures out how to import and send with Aperture. Update (photo):

Still working on upcoming changes for the blog– hopefully with something to show in the next few days. I am even thinking that it might be fun to do a summary or even a simple podcast on the best of each weeks links. We’ll see how that goes.

There is always so much more to write and tell, I’ve got to take better notes.

  • About Me

In the 1980′s I discovered computing and began tenaciously typing in BASIC programs from the back of magazines.
After nearly thirty years a computer has rarely been out of my reach. The focus of my work has been in software programming evolving from QuickBasic through VisualBasic, C++, and in the 1990′s as the Internet exploded into the mainstream I began a career working with HTML, CSS, PHP & Javascript. Along the way I graduated from college, worked within the government for a decade and assimilated a wide array of knowledge and experience.

While I work primarily as a web developer my continuing interest in problem solving keeps me current in many areas of computer and consumer technology. If you have a problem with a computer, device or just want to learn more; it is assured that I can help you find the answers and solutions you seek. It'a a great thing for me to help people get beyond their technical trouble.
