I'm a fan, but I can't put my finger on why the anticipation level is so high. For the gals (myself included),It may have something to do with the great looking cast, like Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto and Chris Doohan.For the Trekkies it's obvious, but for the non-trek fans it may just have to do with the fact that it looks amazing!! the trailers have been great.
