So tonight we sat for a quick dinner before heading over to see; appropriately enough Julie & Julia. We satisfied the criteria of funny easily but in the meantime were also treated to the warm weaving of two disparate individuals; generations apart, as they cooked, ate and mastered their way through life and recipes.

Goodbye Harry, goodbye Hogwarts, goodbye Hagrid. I’ll see you at the movies but I’ll miss reading tales of your adventures late into the dark hours most of all.

 With any luck, years from now I’ll get the opportunity to revisit the pages of your wizarding world and watch it thrill the imagination and spirit of a new generation.

Hopefully I can get through The Song of Susanna before Christmas. I asked for Book VII and intend to finish off the series reading rather then listening via audio books.

As a series it has already become a favourite for life and completely changed my perspective of Stephen King’s work. I intend to write a complete review summary of all seven books when I am finished sometime in 2008.

I listen on my HTC S621 (Windows Mobile 6) phone using NewBreak which downloads new episodes over Rogers Wireless or available Wifi when I so command it.

It’s even easier to setup podcasts on an iPod or Zune with each having great directory’s for discovering something interesting.

My list is heavily centered around the people from the people who hosted/created TechTV earlier in the decade.

I have been looking to branch out from the tech, tech, all tech.

So when not getting through each of these every week I have been listening to Stephen King’s Dark Tower series via an Audible subscription. Currently I am about halfway through book five and a little disappointed in the narrator change but still hooked enough to be committed to finishing out books six and seven
