Resident Evil: Afterlife

By harold on in Movies

If you didn’t like any of the other RE movies you probably won’t think much of Afterlife. If you have any attachment to Alice and her missions, it’s hard to believe that you wouldn’t find something you like in the … Continue reading

Confessions of a Shopaholic

By harold on in Movies

I confess that I liked it. As silly bizarre it was sometimes there are lots of laughs if you speak a bit of the language. And I yes I do. I speak shopping; clothes, gadgets, lawn chairs. It's all good … Continue reading

I Love You, Man

By harold on in Movies

Random Rental: It wasn’t actually as I expected. I’d imagined a much more over the top gag reel comedy given the trailers and premise.Instead it’s an awkward, silly but still funny story of two guys and their modern day quest … Continue reading

Julie & Julia

By harold on in Movies

After a string of decidedly darker movies it was insisted upon that we would see something more funny then scary. So tonight we sat for a quick dinner before heading over to see; appropriately enough Julie & Julia. We satisfied … Continue reading

Inglorious Basterds

By harold on in Movies

Basterds is excatly what you would expect from great QT movie. An extended and viseral build up of tension driven by engrossing dialog; periodicly released in a fury of brutality and mayhem. I did think some of the middle acts … Continue reading

Watchmen

By harold on in Movies

I finally saw Watchmen lastnight, surprised to find the directors cut on AppleTV and dove in even though it was already very late. I wasn’t one to know much about the plot or ever have read the graphic novel and … Continue reading

Star Trek (2009)

By harold on in Movies

In simple words, wicked awesome. In a fans words, simply satisfying. In everyone’s words, applause. Simply. We saw more then a few people dressed in uniform, heard giddy cheering multiple times through out and left thrilled to know Star Trek’s … Continue reading

Star Trek Anticipation

My level of excitement, anticipation and general giddiness for the new Star Trek movie has reached almost unstable levels. I’ve been interested in the movie since it first came to light in production over a year ago but lately I’ve … Continue reading

  • About Me

In the 1980′s I discovered computing and began tenaciously typing in BASIC programs from the back of magazines.
After nearly thirty years a computer has rarely been out of my reach. The focus of my work has been in software programming evolving from QuickBasic through VisualBasic, C++, and in the 1990′s as the Internet exploded into the mainstream I began a career working with HTML, CSS, PHP & Javascript. Along the way I graduated from college, worked within the government for a decade and assimilated a wide array of knowledge and experience.

While I work primarily as a web developer my continuing interest in problem solving keeps me current in many areas of computer and consumer technology. If you have a problem with a computer, device or just want to learn more; it is assured that I can help you find the answers and solutions you seek. It'a a great thing for me to help people get beyond their technical trouble.
